The integration runs over Digistore24's IPN webhook system. The moment a buyer's payment clears, Digistore24 posts the customer's email and purchase details to KlickTipp, instantly adding them to your target subscriber list.

Setup Guide

Connect KlickTipp in Six Steps

Most integrations only take about 10 minutes to set up once you have your account credentials ready.

Open the IPN Settings In your Digistore24 vendor view, head to Settings → Integrations (IPN) and click Add new connection.

Pick KlickTipp From the List Choose KlickTipp from the preconfigured systems list.

Enter Your KlickTipp Credentials Select either Standard login (username/password) or API Key login to authenticate your KlickTipp account.

Configure Tag Mapping Define the KlickTipp tags that should be assigned to buyers when they purchase, refund, or request a chargeback for a product.

Set Up Double Opt-In Select your Double Opt-In Process from the dropdown list to ensure legal email compliance.

Activate, Notify, Save Mark the connection Active, enter an email address for error alerts, and click Save. Click Test connection to verify.

Test With One Product First

Set the scope filter (step 5) to a single low-volume product on day one. Place a test order, confirm the correct tag lands in KlickTipp, and verify your email sequence triggers. Then expand the scope to the rest of your catalog.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can one Digistore24 product apply multiple KlickTipp tags?: Yes. In step 4 of the setup, comma-separate the tags in the Product Tag field. KlickTipp will apply each tag to the buyer's contact record.
What happens if a buyer refunds a purchase?: The tag remains on the KlickTipp contact. You can configure KlickTipp automation to remove or change tags based on refund events, ensuring your segments stay accurate.
Why is my test connection failing?: Most of the time, it's a typo'd API key or an incorrect tag name. Re-paste the API key, confirm the tag exists in KlickTipp, and try again. The error-notification email you set in step 6 will receive a detailed reason whenever an IPN fails to deliver.
